CHEESE
The goat cheeses from our community regularly win prizes in national and international competitions because of their unique taste.
The indigenous goat breed "Cabra Majorera" is very important in our municipality and in the Museo del Queso in Antigua you can follow all production steps from the goat to the finished goat cheese up close.

LA CASA DEL QUESO
In Los Alares, on the FV-2 in the direction of Pozo Negro, there is a goat farm with about 70 animals, where the owner David Cabrera explains the goat keeping and the production of the famous goat cheese.

The animals can be viewed during feeding and milking. A playground for children and a quiet zone in a typical Canarian courtyard round off your visit.
