The fruits are available in different colors, they are sugar sweet and should be enjoyed chilled - dare, the spines have definitely been removed.

Mainly in the south of the island, but also in various gardens all over the island there is the candelabra spurge milk "Cardon" with its typical arms, its milk is poisonous, so it's best not to touch.

Furthermore, imported plants such as hibiscus, bougainvillea, oleander and strelicia are widespread and beautiful to look at.

Not to forget, of course, the ubiquitous aloe vera, which is said to have miraculous healing effects. Its cut leaves help with skin injuries and sunburn.  Cosmetics, creams, and shampoos can be made from the gel of the leaves. These products are offered all over the island.
