The outlying beaches can be more challenging to find and trickier to access.  Because of this, they are often deserted - great if you really want some personal space!  Mobile phone signals can be weak or non-existent in some of these areas.  On windy days, the waves are both spectacular and ferocious.  Take extra care on these beaches as there are no lifeguards.
